Happy Halloween...Again!

For some reason in my last post, it wouldn't let me add any more pictures. So, here's one more for you! My two 'rockin' Rocket Ships! (minus the hats)
Bradley is showing you the plastic snake he got at one of the trick-or-treating houses. So silly!

Happy Halloween!

Happy Halloween!
I know it's almost Thanksgiving, but before I start sounding too much sillier I thought I'd better do this one last catch-up.
This year for Halloween Dallas was an I-pod (again), Aundrea was a witch (again), Bradley was a Rocket Ship (again) and Colter was a rocket ship (finally!). Dallas really enjoys being something unusual and different. Other years she's been a Ham and Cheese Sandwich, a blade of grass or a tube of toothpaste. Aundrea on the other hand, loves being the same thing every year and wants to be dress in traditional halloween costumes. Last year I made Bradley Rocket Ship costume and started Colter's but didn't have it finished by the time we went Trick-or-Treating, so this year I got it done! Surprisingly it even fit him. The boys love being the same, which is nice because when they get older they're going to want their own identities.

This was a first for our family. Really! We've never carved pumpkins as a family. We've grown pumpkins in our garden, but never carved them. What's the point of planting them in the first place, right? How ironic, this year we didn't plant any, and we carved some. My kids had a great time, until they discovered the slimey pumpkin seeds that needed to be cleaned out. That was my job. The girls drew the faces for the pumpkins and the carving was done as a team effort. All in all, it was so much fun I think we'll do it again next year!
